Rob Ellis has been a Managing Director of Amicorp Fund Services N.V. since September 2003. He is a Dutch national and holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
During his 26 year career he has developed a solid expertise in international taxation and capital markets. He started his career in the controllers department of an international transportation group, currently known as VOPAK. He then went on to join Loyens & Volkmaars (currently Loyens & Loeff) in Amsterdam to specialize in international taxation. He subsequently moved to J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd. in London, where he was active in tax and accounting driven product development. He returned to the Netherlands to join De Nationale Investeringsbank N.V. as Head of Funding and Investor Relations. He then set up and led the representative office of Maduro & Curiel's Bank N.V. in the Netherlands, following which he was appointed head of Maduro & Curiel's Trust Company N.V. in the Netherlands Antilles. Rob serves as a Board Member of several investment funds in the Netherlands Antilles and the Cayman Islands.
Rob is fluent in English and Dutch, and speaks German, French and Spanish at a good conversational level. |
