Rudolph Psaila is a Maltese national, with an accountancy degree and a Master’s degree in Financial Services from the University of Malta.
He began his financial services career in 2000, working for PricewaterhouseCoopers Malta. He later joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Jersey, Channel Islands, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of international clients, including trusts, special purpose vehicles and private equity clients. Other responsibilities included a number of one-off assignments in Jersey and in the United Kingdom involving trust regulatory work and forensic assignments. After four years, he moved back to Malta to manage a team dealing exclusively with international clients. In addition, during this period, Rudolph was in charge of promoting the firm’s services locally and within its network.
Actively involved in the international financial services sector, both locally and abroad, Rudolph has considerable experience in the set-up and administration of investment vehicles and group restructuring.
Rudolph is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Institute of financial Services Practitioners (IFSP). A visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, he has also delivered lectures during seminars and workshops organized by STEP and the IFSP. Rudolph was also a member of an IFSP ad hoc Trusts Committee, a committee responsible for making recommendations to improve Malta’s trust regulating laws and practices.
Rudolph joined Amicorp as the Managing Director of Amicorp Malta Limited and Amicorp Fund Services Limited, following several years assisting international clientele. As the Managing Director, Rudolph oversees the development, supervision and management of the legal and corporate services department as well as its fund services and general office management. As such, he is also in charge of the development of business opportunities whilst ensuring adherence to Group’s compliance procedures.
Rudolph speaks English and Italian. |
